Feature Improvements
Payment message on invoices | Accounting
When viewing an invoice in the Administrator Portal, you will now see the reason a payment was cancelled, if applicable in the Status column. In addition, a coloured status indicator has been added beside the “Payments” header on the invoice to provide a quick visual reference of the payment status: green indicates the invoice has been paid in full, yellow indicates a partial payment, and red indicates the payment was cancelled.
Insurance Expiring Query | Admin
Previously, Alinity included several built-in queries to help track expiring registrant insurance and identify gaps in coverage. However, there was no efficient way to identify registrants who did not have insurance coverage at all. With this release, we’ve enhanced the “Insurance Expiring” query by adding a new checkbox option that allows you to easily identify registrants without insurance coverage.
Bug Fixes
Date Field Validations | Admin
Previously, date fields in the Alinity system allowed extremely old historical dates to be entered (e.g. 1800). We have now implemented a control that limits newly entered dates to within the last 100 years. This enhancement will help reduce administrative data entry errors.
Task Descriptions on Tasks Widget | Admin
When viewing the Tasks widget on the Administrator Dashboard, you can use the “i” icon to view task details without opening the full task. Previously, longer text entries could extend outside the pop-up window. This has now been corrected, and the text will properly wrap within the window.
Manual registration change with multiple designations | Admin
In Alinity, administrators can manually initiate registration changes and renewals by accessing a registrant’s registration page. For regulators with multiple designations, this process includes additional complexity, as a registrant may hold more than one licence simultaneously. This means they can independently renew or change registers for each designation.
Previously, when manually initiating a renewal for Designation X, administrators would see renewal options for both Designation X and Designation Y. We have now updated this functionality so that when working within Designation X, only renewal and registration change options related to Designation X will be displayed.
Inbound Email Consultations | Admin
The consultations feature allows for emails to be forwarded into your Alinity system and tracked on that consultation. However, there was previously an issue with using the “SID” to identify the consultation for the email to be sent too. This has now been resolved.
Invoice editing | Accounting
Previously, if an invoice contained both catalog items and a non-catalog line item, attempting to edit the invoice would result in an error message. This issue has now been resolved.
