In addition to new personalized default queries, staff can also configure their own, personalized dashboard to give themselves at-a-glance statistics about the workflows most important to them.
Configuring Your Dashboard
Configuring your new dashboard is simple and straightforward. The first time you log in to your system once the update has been deployed, you’ll be automatically taken to your Dashboard, but you can always click the Dashboard tab at the top of the side-navigation bar to get back to it any time.
Once there, all you have to do is click the green Add button to bring up the widget select window, then choose the widget you want on your dashboard. Each widget has a brief description that will appear when you select it from the dropdown menu. When you find the widget you want, all you have to do is click the green OK button and the widget will automatically appear in the first available spot on your dashboard screen.
If you choose any of the summary statistic widgets, such as renewals for example, Alinity will automatically serve you the most recent information available, visually represented in a straightforward graph. Hover over the graph to get more specific information, drill down to your registers for a more in-depth view, or click the table option for the raw data served straight up.
The unresponsive payments widget will show you all the payments that registrants began but for which there was never a reply from your online payment processor, an important accounting widget. Click on a registrants name to be taken directly to their personal details page, or click the chevron to be taken directly to the payment information screen to get straight to work. Refresh the widget whenever you want directly from the dashboard screen.
Use the announcements widget to stay on top of the newest features and latest updates for Alinity, where you can read just the highlights, or follow the links for more in-depth information.
If you ever need to change a widget, just click the settings icon in the top-right corner of the widget to bring up your options. And if you want to get rid of a widget entirely, just delete it and all the other widgets automatically reorganize themselves. And if you don’t see the widget you’re interested in, don’t worry! New widgets are already in development for both base and optional modules, so keep an eye on your announcements for the latest updates.
