The March 2026 release of Alinity was deployed to Test environments on March 10th and was deployed to Production environments on March 19th. A summary of the changes included in this release appear below.

Audio Captcha | Accessibility
With this release, we have added an audio CAPTCHA option to the Forgot Password page, Sign Up page and Online Complaint Forms. This allows visually impaired members and applicants to use their screen readers to listen to the CAPTCHA, improving accessibility while still maintaining a secure verification process.
Bug Fixes
Time offset for date under form set steps incorrect | Admin
Previously, there was an issue where the timestamp displayed directly beneath a Form Set header appeared one hour different from the time recorded in the Alinity system. For example, when reviewing a renewal you might see a form set listed such as Profile Update, Continuing Competence, and Renewal at the top of the page. The timestamp shown directly beneath these headers was sometimes one hour off. Importantly, the timestamps shown in the Status History section were always correct; the discrepancy only affected the time displayed beneath the form set headers. This issue has now been resolved, and the timestamps displayed beneath each form set now correctly match the time recorded in the system.
Inbound Email issue with unlinking email from profile | Admin
Alinity allows users to forward emails into the system and attach them to profiles, complaints, or consultations as needed. Users also have the option to unlink an email that was previously forwarded, allowing it to be deleted or re-linked to a different record within the system. Previously, clicking the Unlink button could trigger an error message. This issue has now been resolved, and emails can be unlinked without generating an error.
Inbound Email error message | Admin
In some cases, when attempting to view an inbound email, users may have received an error message referencing the “Container.” This occurred because the email was not being properly saved as a document in the system. This issue has now been resolved.
Corporation Register Change Page | Corporations
There was previously a navigation issue affecting the Corporation Register Change page. If the Member Register Change page was opened first and the Corporation Register Change page was then accessed afterward, an error could occur. This issue has now been resolved.
Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) Invoices view for members | Member Portal
Previously, when a member had an approved pre-authorized payment set up, the related invoice did not appear in the member’s invoice table. This issue has now been fixed, and invoices will correctly display even when a pre-authorized payment is in place.
Revenue by catalog item details report | Accounting
Previously, when running the Revenue by Catalog Item Details report in Alinity, the total shown for each line item was incorrect and only displayed the item’s base price. The total should have been calculated as [(price × quantity) − adjustments + tax]. This issue has now been resolved.
Revoked PAD payment not updating on member’s portal | Member Portal
If an administrator revoked payments from a processed PAD batch and cancelled the generated payments in Alinity, the update was not reflected in the member portal, and the payments continued to appear as successful to the member. This is now resolved.
View Invoice error on org forms | Admin
If you clicked the “View Invoice” button on an approved Org Form, you may have previously encountered an error message. This occurred because the system was incorrectly attempting to re-save the form instead of directing you to the linked invoice. This issue has now been corrected.
Missing option on Practice Register creation | Registers
For regulators with multiple designations, there was previously no option to select which designation a new Register should be associated with during creation. The designation was visible on the details page after creation, but it would always default to the system’s default designation. The designation can now be selected when creating a new Register.
Manual complaint creation validation | Complaints
In Alinity, when manually creating a complaint, the Incident Location list is populated based on the employment records linked to the selected registrant. There is also an option to leave the incident location blank. Previously, if a mandatory field was accidentally skipped, the system would display a message indicating which field was missing and the complaint would not yet be created, allowing you to fill in what was missed. However, after this occurred, the system would no longer allow the Incident Location field to remain blank unless the page was refreshed and the process restarted. This has now been resolved.
Expired registration preventing profile update on multi designations | Registrations
Previously, if a person held multiple designations with one active registration and one expired registration, the system would detect the expired registration and prevent a profile update from being initiated. This occurred even though the registrant still had an active registration in one of their designations. Because the system only recognized that an expired registration existed, it blocked the profile update from appearing, despite another registration remaining active. This issue has now been resolved.
Next release
The April 2026 release of Alinity is scheduled for deployment to production sites April 16th.
