Feature Improvements

Registration showing on a complaint | Conduct and Discipline

With this release, the complaint details page has been updated to display both the registrant’s current registration and their registration at the time the complaint was filed. If the registrant holds multiple designations, those will now be shown as well. This enhancement is especially helpful for regulators overseeing multiple designations, allowing them to quickly identify the applicable designation for the registrant at a glance.

Contact Roles | Consultations

With this release, we’ve introduced the ability to add role types to consultations. This allows regulators to more precisely define the roles required when managing consultations.

Bug Fixes

Refund recorded in Converge before Alinity | Accounting

Previously, an error would occur if a refund was processed directly in Converge and later recorded in Alinity. This issue has now been resolved.

“All” Query on People Page | Admin

The “All” query on the People page previously returned duplicate records when a person had multiple designations. This issue has been resolved.

Corp Late Fee Exclusion Validation | Admin

Alinity includes a field on registrant profiles that allows administrators to enter a late fee exclusion year. This field includes validation to ensure that only the correct year can be entered, preventing administrators from selecting a year in the past. Previously, while corporate registrations supported the same field, the validation on the corporation profile was not functioning correctly. As a result, it was possible to save any year. This issue has now been resolved, and the corporate profile validation now matches the same logic applied to registrant profiles.

My Documents naming | Member Portal

With this release, we’ve improved how document titles are displayed in the Member Portal to make them clearer and more informative. Previously, if two documents shared the same title but had different dates or information in the “Additional Info” field, members could not distinguish between them. Now, this information will be visible, providing better clarity. Additionally, members who are associated with more than one corporation will now see a dropdown menu in the “My Org Documents” section, allowing them to easily toggle between their organizations.

Password Reset Page Width | Admin

Previously, the password reset page was not displayed full screen, which caused the top banners to appear partially cut off because the left menu bar, though hidden, was still taking up space. This has now been fixed, and the page is fully centered and displayed in full screen for a cleaner, more consistent user experience.

Open forms query not considering designation | Admin

Alinity provides a query to search for open forms with the option to filter by designation, which is particularly useful for multi-designation regulators. Previously, the query was not correctly filtering by designation as intended. This issue has now been resolved and the filter works as expected.

PAD Payments appearing duplicated | Member Portal

Alinity offers pre-authorized debit as an optional payment method that regulators can make available to members. This allows payments to be withdrawn from a member’s bank account on a schedule determined by the regulator to pre-pay for the upcoming license renewal. The feature also supports the option to apply an administrative fee, for example charging $1 for the fee while the remaining amount is applied to the renewal.

Previously, the member portal displayed these payments in a way that could make it appear as though members were being double charged, because the payment applied to the admin fee and held for the renewal was not clearly indicated. This issue has now been resolved, ensuring that all amounts and allocations are displayed clearly to members.

Auto-Save with hidden fields | Member Portal

Back in the November release, we introduced a new Auto Save feature. A bug was identified on the member side that caused errors when a form contained hidden fields. This issue has now been resolved.
