The October 2025 release of Alinity was deployed to Test environments on October 7th and was deployed to Production environments on October 16th. A summary of the changes included in this release appear below.

New Features
Org Contact Title Suggestions | Admin
Alinity now supports title suggestions when adding or editing an organization contact. For example, if you’ve previously entered “President” as a contact title, typing “P” will prompt “President” as a selectable option. This enhancement allows you to freely enter new titles when needed, while helping maintain consistency for commonly used or repeated titles.
Conditions on Registered Corporations | Corporations
Alinity now supports applying conditions to registered corporations, similar to how conditions are applied to individual members. For example, if a registered corporation is permitted—or restricted—from performing a specific action, a condition can now be applied to reflect this.
Bug Fixes
Birthdate on Signup | Member Portal
In an earlier release, we introduced an update allowing colleges to choose whether the birthdate field during sign-up is mandatory or optional. The option to make it mandatory was provided to help prevent potential duplicate sign-ups. However, we discovered that in some cases, the field was still required even when configured as optional. This issue has now been resolved.
Password Reset Error | Member Portal
Previously, if a member attempted to reset their password but didn’t correctly copy the full password reset link, they would encounter a hard error indicating a null entry. This message was confusing for end users. We’ve now improved this experience. The system will instead display a clear message: “It looks like the password reset link you used may be incomplete. Please return to your password reset email and make sure to copy or click the entire link provided.”
Document folder year incorrect with person form applications | Member Portal
Similar to an update made in the September Release, we’ve corrected an issue where the year displayed in the document folder for both applications and profile updates was incorrect. This has now been fully resolved.
Partially applied payments not appearing as unapplied when paying an invoice | Accounting
In the September release, we introduced a feature allowing registrants and admins to apply unapplied payments (excluding PAD) to invoices they wish to pay, directly on the invoice. We identified an issue where partially applied payments did not appear as selectable options on invoices, even when an unapplied amount remained. This has now been corrected.
Withdraw button missing on Profile Update forms | Member Portal
It was brought to our attention that in some cases a “Withdraw” button was not appearing in the member portal on profile update forms. We have now made an update so that these now correctly appear.
Equal start and end dates not allowed for Time Entries | Consultations
If you were creating a time entry on a consultation and chose the same date for the start and the end of the time entry, you were seeing a message stating “The start time must be before the end time.” This has now been corrected.
Display To Practice Register and Section on reg change forms | Admin
Previously, when processing a registration change, the top of the page displayed only the person’s name and registration number while the change was in progress. Now, the register the individual is moving into is also displayed—consistent with how it appears for applications, renewals, and reinstatements.
Version number appearing twice when reviewing form | Admin
As an admin, if you were reviewing a form, you may have been seeing the version number appearing twice: “Versions (1) Versions (1).” This has now been corrected to only display it once.
Cancelled invoices displaying 0 dollars | Admin
Previously, when an invoice was cancelled, it displayed a total of $0 on both the invoice search page and the invoice itself We’ve updated this so that the original invoice amount now appears on both pages. On the search page, the amount will be shown with a strikethrough (e.g., $200), and on the invoice itself, it will appear in red font.
No add button appearing on a corporation’s registration page with multi-designation | Admin
Regulators with multiple designations and applicant sections have an Add button on the registration page to create a new applicant registration. This same functionality was previously unavailable for multi-designation corporations but has now been added.
Reviewer form dashboard unable to distinguish between form types | Reviewer
On the dashboard for form reviewers, any form that was not an application, registration change, renewal, or reinstatement previously appeared with the form type listed simply as “Other form.” This made it unclear to reviewers what they were about to review before opening the form. This has now been updated so that, in all cases where “Other form” would have appeared, the actual name of the form will now be displayed instead.

The November 2025 release of Alinity is scheduled for deployment to production sites November 20th.
