Feature Improvements
Email trigger navigation | Admin
The Email Trigger now features a search bar to allow an admin to more easily navigate the list of email triggers. The search page is now longer so there will be less need to navigate between pages and you can also filter between triggers that are active or inactive.
Offline Exams | Admin
Offline exams now have the ability to be restricted to specific registers or sections of registers. Previously this functionality was only available for online exams hosted in Alinity.
Form Review Widgets | Member/Reviewer Portal
Previously there were 2 widgets available on the member portal if you had a reviewer permission (Excluding Audits) “Applications to Review” and “Registration Changes to Review.” These have now been combined into 1 widget titled “Registrant Forms to Verify.” A second Widget has also been added called “Organization Forms to Verify.” This improves on existing functionality specifically for org forms that need to be reviewed as previously they were only available via a link in an email to the reviewer.
Case events | Cases
Case events now support uploading documents and notes in addition to emails and forms.
Case Icons | Cases
An icon for cases has been added for members with a case attached to their profile so that you are able to see at a glance that the person has a case attached to their profile. The colour of the icon will update depending on if the case is open or closed for all case types other than site inspections. For site inspections, the case icon will be removed when the case is closed.
Help Text | Forms
We have increased the horizontal space limit on help text prompts on forms to leverage the space available on the width of the form. So if a registration were to click a “?” icon on a form, the pop up text would be wider which is easier to read for longer blocks of help text.
Align Labels to Top for long text fields | Consultations
In a scenario where a consultation had large blocks of text in the available fields, it wasn’t clear to the user when one field started and the next ended because the labels for reach field were centered vertically. We have made an update to make the labels aligned to the top to make the distinction between fields more clear.
Override Button Text on Forms | Admin
Previously on forms there were buttons in certain sections of the forms that would say “Add” and the word Add wasn’t something that was editable. Now, these labels can be overridden when desired so they can have additional text. For example “Add Additional Education.”
Custom Field Categories Displaying in Dropdowns | Admin
Similar to what you might see when you are selecting an email template that is grouped by categories, we have added functionality to group custom fields in lists by category as well.
Message to Admins updating their own personal forms via the admin portal | Admin
In a scenario where a regulator staff-person is also a registrant who reports to that regulator, there may be times where the staff-person is viewing their own forms from the admin view. By default, the system prevents that person from taking administrative actions on their own forms, but prior to this release there wasn’t any messaging added to explain why. Now if this person was viewing their own personal form they will see a message stating “Administrative actions blocked (this is your personal form).”
Default document upload configuration parameter | Documents
We have added a new configuration parameter that can be located under Setup > Other Configuration > “Default Doc Merge Option” which allows you to select a preferred default when uploading documents. The options are “Keep”, “Skip” or “Overwrite.” Previously the default was always “Skip” unless you manually selected another option each time you were uploading a document.
Bug Fixes
Invoice payment date on registration search screen | Accounting
On the registration search screen, in the invoice column, there is a date is displayed if the invoice is paid. Previously there was a bug where if a payment was unapplied to an invoice, the previous date continued to appear in that column. This has now been resolved.
New employment fields | Admin
Last year, we added a variety of new employment fields to support CIHI, however, we didn’t put some of these fields into the user interface for administrators to update. These have now been added.
Unpaid invoice icon | Admin
There is an icon that should be appearing on a registrants profile in the accounting tab if there is an unpaid invoice. Previously this was only appearing if you also had the task management module. This has now been resolved.
Deferred revenue data source | Database Management
Previously there was an issue regarding exports using the “GLTransaction-DeferredRevenueDetail” data source from the accounting section of the system where the system would fail to produce an export. This has been resolved.
Profile update navigation | Admin
Previously if you were viewing a profile update from a person’s profile and then hit the back button, you were redirected to the general profile update search page instead of back to profile you started on. The navigation has now been updated to return you to the profile you were viewing.
